By RIB Staff · Jul 7, 2026

Riot Games has officially released the schedule for VCT Americas Stage 2, confirming the return of top teams from across the Americas as the second split of the 2026 Valorant Champions Tour season begins on July 17. Running through September 7 in São Paulo, Brazil, the tournament features a $250,000 prize pool and valuable Championship Points as teams battle to keep their international ambitions alive.
The competition will once again feature 12 teams, split into Alpha and Omega groups. Alpha consists of Evil Geniuses, FURIA, Leviatán, MIBR, NRG, and ENVY, while Omega brings together 100 Thieves, Cloud9, KRÜ Esports, LOUD, Sentinels, and G2 Esports.
On paper, Group Omega appears to be the more competitive of the two. With regional heavyweights including Sentinels, G2 Esports, Cloud9, LOUD, and 100 Thieves, every match could have a significant impact on the race for playoff qualification.
Stage 2 will begin with the Group Stage running from July 17 to August 10, before moving into the Play-Ins from August 14 to August 24. The tournament concludes with the Playoffs, which will take place between August 28 and September 7 to crown the Stage 2 champions.
With Championship Points becoming increasingly important as the season progresses, every series will carry added weight. Teams looking to secure qualification for the year's biggest international events will have little room for error, making Stage 2 one of the most important tournaments on the VCT Americas calendar.
RIB.GG will provide comprehensive coverage throughout the event, including live scores, match schedules, standings, player statistics, and post-match reports as the tournament unfolds.
